Evans Concrete were contracted by Ringway Jacobs / TFL for design, manufacture and installation of two permanent and one temporary precast concrete planter units. These units were to be installed as part of the regeneration of Elephant and Castle Junction in London, UK.
The redesign of the junction will new dedicated cycle routes through and around the junction to improve safety and make it better for cycling. Pedestrian subways will be replaced with wide pedestrian crossings. Allowing people to cross directly, easily and safely.
Each permanent precast concrete unit we supplied are located in the area adjacent to Newington Causeway. While the temporary unit was placed adjacent to the Elephant and Castle Link.
