Evans Concrete were contracted by Prime Construction for the design, manufacture and installation of precast concrete panels for 145 Kensington Church Street.
The project in 145 Kensington Church Street, is to regenerate a site that was underutilised and failed to positively respond to its context. This development includes boutique retail space, office accommodation and high quality lateral residential units.
In order to reflect the historic origins of the area and to evolve an architectural composition of beauty, SPPARC adopted innovative architectural techniques to generate an original design concept. This new design concept reflects on the historic origins of the Kensington Conservation Area and evolves an architectural composition of beauty.
This modern intervention and vertical rhythm of each elevation has been inspired from the candle making heritage which once dominated the area.
Evans Concrete produced 161 precast concrete panels creating a façade to the mixed use development.
