Sense TouchBase Pears Centre.

Evans Concrete were contracted by Stepnells for the design, manufacture and installation of precast units for a new building in Birmingham, UK. This project, for the national deafblind charity, Sense, is the new TouchBase Pears centre in Selly Oak, Birmingham.

This new centre, which consists of three floors, will deliver a major new centre for people with disabilities in the West Midlands and provide a base for the charity to deliver vital specialist services to help people with sensory impairments to learn new skills, build their confidence and engage in community activities.

We produced 95NR precast units which form the façade of the new Sense TouchBase Pears Centre. All precast panel joints were double sealed using Sika Pro 2HP.
